La Clase Divertida

Hello,

 

I'm getting worried.  I placed an order on 12/26 and still haven't received it yet.  The order says processing.  It's been 16 business days.  I've called 5 times and left one message, but to no avail.  Has anyone experienced this before with this company? 

 

I could always call my credit card and say that I didn't receive the product.  I rather not since I think December is the only time La Clase Divertida goes on sale. 

 

Thoughts?  Shall I be worried?  Am I spoiled by all the fast delivery from other places? 

 

I would feel better if someone posted that this was normal with this company.  :)

I haven't ordered from them before, but I have met the guy at a convention. I think it is run by man and his wife, it appears to be a small company. Do they have email? I would leave another message just in case your phone number wasn't clear in the last one and email as well.

I ordered directly from Senor Gamache at the Cincy convention and it took over a month for my order to arrive at my door.  I don't know if that is normal or if that is extra slow because they have to process all the convention orders.

Oh that is really good to know.  I'm okay if this is normal.  kwim?  I suspect that December is a busy month for them since that is the only time they go on sale.

:laugh:  I don't mean to laugh, but Sr Gamache isn't the most organized guy around. He's a great teacher, but not so up on answering emails & such. He does eventually get to all the emails & calls. He's a high school spanish teacher, so I think his wife does most of the business stuff.

 

I'd give it another week or two to arrive.

I did receive an email reply.  Holiday orders are being shipped at the end of February.  That's okay.  Especially since I now know it's just a family business.  I understand running a business and working full time is a lot of work.  ;)
