I woke up this morning with a terrible headache and congested nose.  I think my kids shared their cold with me.  Anyway, I need to make dinner tonight and I forgot to set the roast down to thaw yesterday, so it is hard as a rock.  How well would it work if I put it in the crockpot frozen and cooked it on low all day?

That's what I do almost every Sunday - frozen roast, sliced potatoes, onion, baby carrots, a cup or so of beef broth. Crock pot on high for about 4-5 hours, then low (if I remember) until we are ready to eat. Yummy! Tender! Easy!!!
