4ofus
I'm looking for snowboard & ski pants for my 28/34 son. Since I've waited so long I think I will be ordering them instead of shopping the stores. Any suggestions? The ones I look at the sizing charts all have a much too short inseam. ChrisB
Maybe try LLBean. I know the two pairs we have fit tall and skinny. GL!
catz
Ugh - I have a (barely) 28-32 kid with the same need. I'm tempted just to order bibs if I can find them. At least they won't fall down.
4ofus
I handed him my bib yesterday & he wore it, but he was NOT HAPPY. He really wants pants.
4ofus
I found today that the men's smalls are WAY too big, & the youth, of course, too small. My area shops didn't have any men's xs for us to try. The most helpful person I found suggested that Burton has the longest youth sizes, so we tried a youth XL Burton. It's too big in the waist, but has velcro to adjust down so it worked. The length was a smidge too short. The inside liner has a thread you can pull to increase the liner length about 1". It's deliberate, so kids can wear them longer. So that's what we're going to do. It's not a perfect solution, but I think it's the best I can do 1 week out. Also, these Burton's are not slim fit, they are slouchy cargo pants. Not the best look for my tall, thin guy, but I guess it'll have to do. I see lots of snowboarders who look like their clothes are too big. Maybe it's the style.
KungFuPanda
I'd buy big and put a stitch in the waist hoping he'll grow out a smidge before he shoots up again.
