If she is a typically developing student, she might be able to glean what she wants to know through much less expensive resources.

I highly recommend the book What Smart Students Know by Adam Robinson. It is fantastic and very practical. It teaches how to really learn something.

Some free resources include:

The Basics of Effective Learning from Bucks County Community College - this site has info on reading college texts and taking effective notes, among other things

Study Guides and Strategies - this website is full of useful information

Videos - really good, search for Scott Brubaker, Long Beach City College. The first one in the series is Active Listening, but she can skip to whatever interests her.

I second the Super Star Student course from Great Courses. I had my two do it over the summer. I have the youngest review it again in a year or so. Lots of good ideas and practical approaches.

You can buy the updated, second edition of How to Become a SuperStar Student on Amazon streaming. You can buy single episodes for a couple bucks, if you just want to try it out, or the entire season for around $30 (in SD). We've seen both editions and my son vastly preferred the speaker and the updated topics in the newer one. Highly recommended.
