A fun social studies book for k

I am looking for a secular, fun social studies for my little guy next year. I plan on starting SOTW 1 with him in first grade.

 

I am looking for a workbook that has all the fun things like the post man, your neighbor, the fireman, etc.. I know I could just go on field trips, or do coloring pages, or read living books...but I just want one of those workbooks all in one thingys. 

 

Any ideas? Links would help as well. I know it's not "needed" for a ker, but I still want it. lol

Mine liked Richard Scarry's and the Sonlight Pk (says Pk, but the books are good for about 4-7/8)

Oh I wish something like that existed! Unfortunately I've never seen anything like that. I have picked up fire safety books at various fairs and fire station open houses so that might be something to look out for.

here are the pre-K, Kinder, and 1st grade books -- unfortunately the topics you are looking for geared for the youngest grades -- but they might work for you
