Maria from IN
Recently Terre Haute was asked to be the venue this year for Victory Days because the town that normally has it (somewhere in Ohio?) cannot. http://www.victorydays.org/about.html We're such a small city that we never get cool stuff like this...we're definitely going. It's a perfect field trip for the boy, who's doing SOTW 4 right now...and we'll have our very own tour guide in the Tall Bald Guy, who's the biggest WWII buff, and his dad fought at Anzio. Just looking through the website makes you want to cry...the suffering, the ingenuity, the sacrifice...:patriot:

TheLisa
I can't go, so I will be looking for a long thread from those who went! Not that I didn't enjoy the long threads on tea, Halloween, and the state of our economy ;)
