MrsWeasley
Your favorite homemade Valentines that can be easily made in large quantities. Bonus points if you have an idea that would work for a young two year old.
GailV
Fingerpaint in reds and pinks. Mom or older child cuts out heart shapes from the fingerpainted paper (can use a cookie cutter or something else as a stencil for this part). Add a simple message.
Gentlemommy
I think when mine were little we did heart shaped doilies glued on red and pink construction paper. Or fingerprinted red/pink on heart shaped cut outs.
NorthwestMom
You have them color a simple picture and you photocopy it in color! Tape on a lolly and you are done!
MercyA
You Are Dino-Mite! I like to put the little dinosaurs in bags rather than trying to tape them on.
fdrinca
You have them color a simple picture and you photocopy it in color! Tape on a lolly and you are done! We did this last year. We made "love bugs" with different hearts glued together to make bugs. I also like to cut out a bunch of heart shapes and let the kids decorate - two years ago we did roller painting (marbles in paint). One year we did "bee mine" cards, where DD (then 1) used her fingerprint to make a bee. I filled in the wings, legs, antennea, head, and stripes. Chris in VA
Have her blow into a straw in a cup of dish detergent and paint and make bubbles til they overflow. (Set it on a tray first.) Then press a bunch of hearts in the bubbles to make prints!
