LarlaB Posted January 11, 2016 Posted January 11, 2016 I'm a massage therapist and have my hands covered in organic lotion 15+ hours a week. For the last 3 months I've noticed my fingertips are pruned and wrinkled- very much like I just took a bath or washed dishes. I didn't take much notice because I assumed it was over hydration due to constant lotion use and frequent hand washing.... But I had 2.5 weeks off over Christmas and noticed they remained then same. They feel dry but are wrinkled and pruned...all of the time. While I live in a dry climate I am not dehydrated and have tried to drink even more water to see if that helps- it does not. I googled this out of curiosity and saw that it can be a symptom of thyroid issues. Thoughts? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Quote
