abba12
This is a very long shot, I know. When I was a kid I had this book.... I think it may have been one of my mothers books, maybe from the 60s-80s It was full of logic puzzles and brain teasers. It wasn't a cheapie newsagents book, it was a decent size, maybe 150 pages? The style sort of reminds me of the brown paper school book, I hate mathematics type thing, it was a book meant to be read through, which is what has me thinking of it. The cover was yellow, the letters were bubble style, maybe white with coloured patterns? There might have been a trivia fact on the cover about birthdays. There may have also been some rather politically incorrect or no-longer-acceptable puzzles, including one about a suicide cult and where to stand in the circle to be the last man standing lol (gotta love the 70s) Really wishing I could remember the book because I used to spend hours reading it and puzzling stuff out. It was quite well done. Probably no one here will remember some random brain teaser book but it's worth a shot.
Desert Strawberry
Probably not this specific one, but a member of the genre; it sounds like a bathroom book to me. They contain funny anecdotes, brain teasers and trivia. https://play.google.com/store/books/details?id=-9oenfdRQ4wC&source=productsearch&utm_source=HA_Desktop_US&utm_medium=SEM&utm_campaign=PLA&pcampaignid=MKTAD0930BO1&gl=US&gclid=CKGe3LG2n8oCFQOtvAodAAgKPg&gclsrc=ds Does this seem like the right kind of book? abba12
It doesn't look like any of the bathroom books there I was hoping to find the specific book, childhood memories and all, thanks anyway :D
Monica_in_Switzerland
It doesn't look like any of the bathroom books there I was hoping to find the specific book, childhood memories and all, thanks anyway :D When I've been stuck like this in a past, I put in the best search terms I can think of, then do a good image search. It is easier to scan through book covers quickly that way. Sometimes it works!
Tanaqui
You can try asking on Reddit. But to be honest, I'm not sure even that sub is going to have the answer for this.
Outdoorsy Type
Was it related to the Wayside School Books? Like a stand alone puzzle book? ETA: I had the sideways arithmetic from wayside school book, and it sounds similar. http://www.biblio.com/book/sideways-arithmetic-wayside-school-sachar-louis/d/855973553?aid=frg&utm_source=google&utm_medium=product&utm_campaign=feed-details&gclid=CI2uiM3nn8oCFRRlfgodluIIxw Edited January 10, 2016 by Outdoorsy Type

Rockhopper
"The Book of THINK" (OOP) is by the Brown Paper School folks. I picked up a copy on amazon recently. Maybe kinda on the right track? Edited: Got the title wrong the first time! Cover Art: Edited January 10, 2016 by Rockhopper
