Moxie
I really enjoy hanging out in my bathroom with the heater on. Seriously, why can't I have one of these in my bedroom or kitchen??
Liz CA
I don;t know what this means. Don't you have heater vents in every room?
maize
I don;t know what this means. Don't you have heater vents in every room? Not all homes have central heating systems, and I think even I those that do there is sometimes a separate heater in the bathroom--a radiator, or electric or gas heater. We had one in an apartment we lived in.
Shellydon
?? There is a heat/AC vent in everyone room of my house
Guest
Well, yes, we have regular registers in all the rooms. I'm talking about the exhaust fan/heater on the bathroom ceiling that shoots out jets of air that are only slightly cooler than the surface of the sun. Having hot air blasted on me in every room would be glorious. I hate being cold!
Garga
Wait...your bathroom comes with a heater? Like the hotels at Ocean City? Lucky! I have a plug in ceramic heater that I use in the bathroom. That's where I am now. Not on the toilet! I stand at the sink and turn on the heater and THAW. And type. And read books. In silence. I spend a lot of time thawing in my bathroom. But to have a built in heater that shoots out hot air on me from above?! What a dream! And yes, all rooms should have them.

Desert Strawberry
I have a magnificent little space heater in my bedroom. It is positively sweltering in here. It's a 9x10 cinderblock room and it heats up FAST. Plus, there's a bed. I spend a lot of time in here.
Miss Tick
Moxie we need to modify a Roomba to add a heater on top and train it to follow you around, and then stand a discreet distance from you at all times. Plus, it could still do some incidental vacuuming.
MercyA
LOL, you all. I :001_wub: my toasty bathroom, too.

Guest
And my husband, God love him, doesn't get it. "Why don't you come down here and sit under a blanket!" Dude, no. Just, no. I need to be toasty AND unencumbered!!
BarbecueMom
I put a small space heater in my bathroom. I turn it on and hang out in there sometimes when my ears are cold. And when I say my ears are cold, I mean my ears are overwhelmed with the household noise.

happi duck
When we lived in a home with a bathroom heater dh left for work hours before the rest of us woke up. Dh always cranked up the heater and the days he forgot to turn it off the bathroom would practically be melting!
Erica in OR
We have a ceiling heat blaster in our bathroom too. Toasty heaven. I remember in college after I walked to class in the winter weather I'd go wash my hands just so I could stand and warm up with the hot air drier. T'smom
I have a space heater that lives under the school table. It blows on my legs all through thr long winter! Sometimes I sit on the floor, so it blows on my back while we do read alouds.
Tanaqui
There are places where it gets cold, but it's not required to put a radiator in every room people live in? The only rooms here that don't have radiators are our hallways. (Admittedly, we turned the radiator OFF in the one bedroom because it was dripping and we couldn't figure out how to fix it, and also in the front room because it's cheaper to close that room off, but that's beside the point.) PinkTulip
This is why I spend so much time in my car (not really!). Crank the heat up to 90, turn it full blast hitting me in the face, turn the seat warmers on the highest level, and I'm set!
Jean in Newcastle
If you own your own home, there is nothing stopping you from putting one of those in every room in your house. Perhaps over your favorite spots? ;)

AHASRADA
Never heard of a ceiling fan heater, wow. Even though I live in the freezing north where such a heater would be luxurious, I'd actually rather have AC. It's only hot and humid for 3 months, but oh does it make me miserable! ikslo
I love my warm bathroom! Having lived in an old house with a bathroom with no heat, where I had to warm up towels in the dryer for DS after bath time, it makes a huge difference. Hilltopmom
No central heat here. Woodstove in basement. My bathroom is freezing. We live up north, US, but skipping distance from Canada.
Happy
If we ever decide to rip up and re do the tile in the bathrooms and kitchen, I'm putting under floor heat in there. My BIL did in one of his bathrooms. Such a treat to have a not cold floor. We keep our house at a low temp, so I have a small electric throw to warm up the bed, a small ceramic heater to take the chill off the bathroom, and I keep sweaters and warm throws in every room. J-rap
Here in the cold north, every room has a heater! But some rooms do get warmer than others, and those rooms are very popular in the winter. :)
