mom31257
Are the homeschool laws in SC easy to navigate? We may look at moving to the Greenville/Simpsonville area in a year or so. It's not definite but a possibility. Ds will enter 8th grade this year, so it could be during his high school years. Thanks!
1bassoon
I'm going to add my voice to wondering, too. We may be moving to Toccoa area, and Clemson is one of the cities we may look at living in.
SharonUF
Could not be easier under option 3. Sign up with a group (We are with Homeward Education Association.) Then I just have to turn in 2 report cards and a curriculum list. No testing or portfolios required. The only other thing is to keep lesson plans that you never turn in to anyone. Good luck on your move!
mom31257
Thanks! I don't know if it will happen and may not know for another year or so. It might even happen after we graduate ds. Dh has family in the area, and we really like it there. He's one year away from being vested in our state retirement system, so we know we wouldn't even consider leaving before that.
