Alicia64
It's a cross between a tea cup breed and another super tiny breed. He's an 11 week old baby and has sharp little claws. How do you recommend trimming -- and with what? I'm all ears! Thank you! Alley
TammyS
My mother uses (human) baby nail clippers on her 2lb Yorkie. Some people have good results with a piece of sandpaper nailed to a board, then scraping the nails (JUST THE NAILS) on the sandpaper. Annie Elle
I use this for my 12lb min pin mix. http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0002RJM8C/ref=twister_B00280MRBK?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 For such a little puppy, maybe file or finger nail clippers until she gets older? Carrie12345
We're using one like this right now. http://www.petco.com/shop/en/petcostore/four-paws-magic-coat-stainless-steel-nail-clippers?mr:trackingCode=E5B423FA-1B4E-E411-B200-BC305BF82376&mr:referralID=NA&mr:device=c&mr:adType=plaonline&mr:ad=84602696773&mr:keyword=&mr:match=&mr:tid=pla-81307407133&mr:ploc=9007030&mr:iloc=&mr:store=&mr:filter=81307407133&cm_mmc=CSEMGooglePLA-_-Petco_PLA_Google_GEN_Dog_Supplies-_-Dog_Grooming-_-6fd5c8ee-da09-4435-b004-7beb996b4db4&gclid=Cj0KEQiAtri0BRDLoaCF95e7o_sBEiQA_pgRQ74BSsGAAFhFoLuAxE5E_CE1Q_QCoBjcRqPWUHydZgsaAl9v8P8HAQ I think a dremmel tool is much better, but our little guy will not stand for it. When he was a baby-baby, I did use an emory board for a while.
Jan in SC
We have a 10 week old mini dachshund, and our vet suggested an emery board.
Pawz4me
Look for nail clippers meant for cats. The scissors type. I'd find a link for you but I'm on my phone right now.
