umsami
We bought the separate diagramming light unit to bring my kids up to speed. Why do they call "the" an adjective? I've never heard of that. Is there something I'm missing?
Guest
It is an article and articles are classified as adjectives. They answer the question "which one"? I'm remembering from FLL and that was a bit ago. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Ms.Ivy
Yep, articles are adjectives in Rod and Staff too.
Tsuga
I looked this up because I found it so bizarre. I thought modifiers included adjectives, adverbs, and then other classes of modifiers like articles. But it turns out that it's really just adjectives (including articles), adverbs, and then clauses. Huh! You learn something new every day (if you try).
