Garga
Udemy.com looks to be online lectures about lots of subjects. Do you use these in your homeschool? If so, are they supplements to classes you already use? Are some of them good/long enough to be a complete class, maybe with assignments such as writing papers or taking a test added to them? It looks like some of them come with tests.
quark
DS uses them as programming electives. DH loves them too and I prefer them over the MOOCS I've tried. It really depends on the class. The ones we use can usually be stand alone 1/2 credit CS/ web mastering courses.

JanetC
Udemy is a site for independent instructors to sell video classes. The quality of each class depends on who made it. It's sort of like asking if books on Amazon are good. Well, which book are you considering? Also, they have recently been getting some bad press about pirated content: http://www.theverge.com/2015/11/29/9813780/udemy-pirated-course-copyright-troy-hunt
