I have Clifton Fadiman's "the new lifetime reading plan". It lists classic books - fiction and non - from both the eastern and western cannon. It does this chronologically but not by genre and, at the end list 100 more books by neither chronological or genre order. So I was wondering if I could use the books so listed with the "Well Educated Mind" and how? Does it not matter what genre I read as long as it's chronologically correct for use with the trivium study plan planned out in Susan's book? Thank you.
