SharonM
I am on Christmas break from my school district job...off for 2 weeks. Wrapping up a semester of college. Hopefully my last submission will be accepted and I will be DONE. And today, I sat and read the latest Stephanie Plum NOVEL. All day. Going to read a few more before I go back to work and the new semester starts. I am happy. That is all. :-)

AngieW in Texas
I've had great fun reading books since school got out. I'm in a slightly different position since I resigned from the charter school where I was teaching on Friday last week and accepted a job offer at a local ISD school. I'm very happy to get out of charter land. I need to prepare for my new teaching position, but it will have only ONE lesson prep instead of FIVE, so that will be much easier. I'm supposed to be able to go into the school some time next week to actually see the classroom and get a textbook and find out exactly where the class left off. In the meantime, I've been reading like crazy. I'm currently reading The Diviners by Libba Bray. I have the sequel checked out too. I haven't read either one before. Those Stephanie Plum novels can be dangerous!
SharonM
Good for you! How was the book? This book, tricky twenty two, was better than the last 2 I was interested all the way through. I love the tone of her books. Stephanie tries hard but just isn't cut out for the "normal life" Even her mother got in on some action. I give it 7...
SharonM
No desire for donuts. After the description of what lula eats, I am ready to cut back myself. I am finishing the science fiction novel Wool. It is a very captivating read... very strange things happening there. PrincessMommy
wow! How wonderful. I haven't spent a whole day reading in...forever?? Probably back when we were first married. We didn't have a TV and I was home dealing with hyper-emesis with my first pregnancy.
