MEmama
Imagine by John Lennon. It may not be an actual holiday song, but to me I gets right at the essence of what it is to be human, what truly matters and how to finally bring peace to this world. I turn to it frequently in times of crisis and in this season.
Night Elf
Baby, It's Cold Outside is my all time favorite. I've not yet heard a version I don't like.
creekland
I like most of them and even love quite a few. I guess my two all time favorites are: O Holy Night sung by anyone with a great deep male voice and Nicholas Jonas singing his version of Joy to the World (not the Christmas Carol version, though that one is good too). Kristie in Florida
There is a version of Little Drummer Boy That I just adore. But it also makes me ugly cry so I haven't gone out of my way to find it on youtube yet this year. Seeing me cry like that but be happy will freak my childen out. abba12
I'm loving Sarah Mclachlan's version of The First Noel/Mary Mary at the moment. Also, Pentatonix As for actual carols, my favourite is The First Noel, with Mary's Boy Child and Mary Did you Know running close seconds, my husbands favourite is O Holy Night, and the favourites with the kids this year are Little Drummer Boy and Angels we have Heard on High.

MrsWeasley
I'm with Abba on Sarah Mclachlan's version of The First Noel/Mary Mary. I discovered Chris Holfelder's Christmas singles this year, and by far, it's the songs I'm most excited about this year. I still love Barenaked Ladies' version of God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen, The Christians and The Pagans by Dar William, and The Nields' version of In the Bleak Midwinter. My five year old is obsessed with Carol of the Bells, and it's always been a favorite of mine, and we've listened to everything from Tran-Siberian Orchestra to Piano Guys to Destiny Child's renditions of it. I love the Tori Amos Christmas album, especially Comfort and Joy and Star of Wonder. I also love Loreena McKennitt's album: it has the best version of Good King Wenceslas I've ever heard.

DONNY HATHAWAY...THIS CHRISTMAS! It. doesn't get any better than that. Edited December 13, 2015 by Sneezyone

AK_Mom4
I love Christmas music! Two specific songs I like are: Soul cake by Sting 12 Days of Christmas by Relient K There's a lot more but that's a couple I especially am liking of late. After one of the early music WTMmthreads, I bought Sting's If on a Winters Night album. There are a few odd sounding (to my uncultured ears) tracks, but Soul Cake is positively wonderful! Hurray for WTM Music recommendations!
BooksandBoys
I'm not religious, but all my favorite holiday music is (thank you religious childhood plus Lutheran college choir). I adore Once in Royal David's City, Silent Night, and O Come, O Come, Emmanuel, as well as Gloria. The harmonies available in those songs are just amazing.
SemiSweet
Anything from the Nutcracker, I first saw it live two years ago and have gone every year since, this year we get to see the Moscow ballet perform and I can't wait. I'm atheist but Hark the Herald Angels Sing does things to me. I adore that song. I love Christmas music though, I've been listening almost nonstop for about a week now. :D

"Baby It's Cold Outside" The Hanukkah Song by Adam Sandler The Grinch Theme Song Burl Ive's "Have a Holly Jolly Christmas" Wham's "Last Christmas" Faith Hill's "Where are you Christmas" There's a station in Orlando that plays Christmas music 24/7 starting the day after Thanksgiving through New Year's Eve I think. I love it. :)
mamiof5
I absolutely love all of them! Or most? Including "I want a hippopotamus for Christmas". It's easier to list a couple I don't care for...not too big on "I saw mommy kissing Santa Clause" or one (no idea about the name) which is about a naughty/materialistic sounding gal asking for presents. Recently really liking Joseph-Mercy me"...we don't know much about Saint Joseph, and a song from his perspective as the earthly father of the Son of God is just beautiful! kandesmom
O Come, O Come Emmanuel And The Christmas Song by Bing Crosby are my favorites! The depth of theology and meaning in O Come, O Come Emmanuel is mind blowing and makes me cry everytime I hear it. I love the sound of those old crooners. Classic.
