Liz CA
I seem to have lost all perspective since I have been baking with sourdough for some time. This person is all new to the concept and was afraid she had ruined her starter because some liquid had formed on top. I would like to get her a good, basic book that explains how sourdough works and what is normal or not normal.

They are super nice and they are the experts! http://www.kingarthurflour.com/guides/sourdough/ http://www.kingarthurflour.com/bakers-hotline/ and lol about ruining her starter due to liquid on top...that is just :confused1: I'd hate to have her see my starter on occasion..it's not pretty, lol
