JumpyTheFrog
For the last two weeks, I've been having problems with having an arm fall asleep while I'm asleep. The only other time this has ever been a problem was when I was hugely pregnant with my first. Any ideas? wintermom
I had this program this past summer. The nerve in my arm was getting pinched in the position I was sleeping. I sleep on my side, and it was always the arm on top. I just made a point to put the arm in a less constricted position and this seems to have fixed things. My mom was having a problem with her wrists bending at night and her hands would fall asleep. She uses wrist braces now and it clears up the problem. lailasmum
I woke up one night recently but my leg did not. I tried to stand up because I'd not realised and my leg gave way and ended up spraining my little toe and tearing the skin under it. It took a few minutes to realise it was bleeding because it was still not back to normal feeling and I was hobbling around in the dark trying to feed the cat and leaving bloody footprints everywhere. I've had arms be slow to wakeup before but not regularly. I think I can sleep a bit twisted up sometimes.

Bluegoat
THis sometimes happens to me. I noticed recently that a mattress store that advertises on the radio mentions it as something they can help with by providing the right kind of mattress. So - I am thinking it is common and also may relate in part to a crappy mattress.
