She actually forgot all her hanging clothes in the dorm room, but her roommate lives in south GA and wasn't leaving until today. Dd is contacting her to see if she will bring them with her, then we could meet her on the interstate as she heads home. Done: fed cats breakfast and lunch for dh on 2nd cup of coffee To Do: meals laundry school with ds tidy house meet dd's roommate (My dad went to the school and picked up her clothes. SKL Posted December 9, 2015 Share Posted December 9, 2015 (edited) I got off to a pretty good start today. Kids got to the school bus on time, yay, 4th day in a row! Took out the garbage, including a bunch of stuff from the garage and porch. Fed and medicated the fish. Our sick betta Mufasa is back to playing dead again. Weirdo. Laundry. I was alone in the house for a while, so after 2 weeks of doing no laundry, I was able to tackle that. Wow, 6 loads. So far I have 3 4 washed, 2 3 dried, 1 2 folded and put away. Cleaned the kitchen really well. Cleaned the bathrooms (and decided a better way to motivate the kids to do theirs in the future). Cleaned up some clutter. Reorganized the DVDs and set aside a bunch to hand down to my nieces. Exercise - included in the above. ;) Bends, stretches, lifts, stair climbing, speed walking .... Cut my hair. Finally signed and addressed that graduation card I've been putting off. (Got the address from the parents' Christmas card!) Just needs a stamp. Bunch of other little things. Checked all my messages and replied to some. Lived through a conference call. Some other work. Remaining: Lots more work - I hope I can stay focused. Finish the laundry. Kids' work. Family TKD - may do 2 classes to get ready for Saturday belt test. Have the kids do some cards for elderly - to drop at scouts tomorrow. Kids to bed. Work. My boss is out of town, so that is why I am able to do some personal things today & tomorrow. He can't leave until late because of his job, and she says he won't stop to bring dd her clothes because they aren't getting home until 2AM. She offered to meet them at the interstate, so it would literally be 5 minutes to get off the interstate, pass off the clothes, and get back on. On to figure out a plan 2. I talked to my dad, who lives 45 minutes away. He has an appointment this afternoon and can go down after that. This must be the first Christmas break that no one will be doing makeup work. I am going to call that a win. He's more than happy with his bone right now but I will check with dd when I see her. ds to work - he hasn't come home yet medical care done talked to hysterical neighbor (sigh) 3/4 of the kitchen is done. I'm just taking a break before I do the last bit. dd has gone on her run. Everything is later today because there was a storm during the night that disrupted our sleep.
