lynn
Lets just say my beautiful tree now has tin foil and grapefruit peels around it and the kitty still finds her way to my now not so beautiful tree. I took my old tree out of the car before it got carted off to the thrift store and put it up in the other room. Kitty played in it for quite a while. I have wishful thinking that she'll leave the other tree alone. Any other things to try to keep her out of the nice tree or :leaving:  :crying:
Ethel Mertz
I'm afraid by putting up the old tree, you have given her permission to climb all trees. The first year we had our kitten, we had to tie the tree to the curtain rods and any other solid place (fishing line works). We put away the glass ornaments for the year and used unbreakable ones. One of us slept on the couch with a spray bottle full of water at hand. This is after he knocked the tree over a couple of times... As he has aged, he has become less troublesome in regards to Christmas trees. Good luck with your kitten!
