Several people on this board have recommended LittleBits electronic components, and I think they will be perfect for ds. I am about to place an order and thought I would check here first to see if there are any components your dc find very useful. I am placing an international order, so it is unlikely that I will order again for a very long time. Are there any components I need multiples of (where maybe only one would be included in a kit)? Do your dc have a favourite project you can link and I can see what components it takes? What components do they use/like most? Thank you! Depending on the size of the order, it was 15%, 20%, or 30% off. I know they ran it through Cyber Monday, and a few days past that. We started with a couple of the kits to see what they were like. My son loves them. I'm not what your budget is, but the gizmos and gadgets set looks nice. Currently there is free international shipping, so it is probably just as good for me to order now. (But thank you for letting me know - once I know what we are getting I will see which is the better deal) One grandparent is getting him the gizmos and gadgets set and the other grandparent wants to get either a different kit or various random useful pieces.
