I love lestoil for grease stains:http://www.amazon.com/Lestoil-Concentrated-Heavy-Cleaner-Ounces/dp/B0036B89US/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1446836337&sr=8-1&keywords=lestoil+cleaner

But, he'd have to check if he could use it on silk (I'm having back trouble or I'd go down and look).

oops, nevermind, I just checked online and you can't use it on silk.

I think the easiest thing would be straight to the dry cleaner. It shouldn't be horrible expensive to treat.

Am I the only one wondering how he grass stained his tie? :)

Edited to answer my own question. He had a GREASE stain on his tie, Hikin'. Read better next time. Aargh!

You never know, he studies hard and he plays hard.  Maybe the boxing club met on the lawn!

Take it to the cleaners?

My son had a fav tie that got a grease like looking thing on it.  I paid $5 to have it cleaned.  It came clean.  I was irritated because I can get new silk ties all day long for $6.99.  He LOVED this tie though.  Seriously how can ONE tie be so important.  But you know.   15.
