MercyA Posted November 6, 2015 Share Posted November 6, 2015 I'd recommend he treat it with a good stain remover (my favorite is Resolve Stain Stick) and wash it in warm water using the delicate cycle. Southern Ivy Posted November 6, 2015 Share Posted November 6, 2015 Depending on the type of grease (ie: food grease), I would use some blue Dawn dish soap. Breaks up the grease wonderfully. If it's car grease, he could try GOOP from the automotive section of Walmart. That took oil based paint out of a jacket of mine once. It's good stuff. He has no ready access to dry cleaner (probably not to blow dryer either=). I really like the 'wear that one w/ a sweater from now on' idea! I was irritated because I can get new silk ties all day long for $6.99. He LOVED this tie though. Seriously how can ONE tie be so important.
