K&Rs Mom
DD is finishing her 3rd Form final this week, so I got out the 4th Form teacher manual to start planning. It says it's designed for 3 hours per week, finishing one lesson per week. Does this fit your experience? It seems like the workbook pages alone took her far more than 3 hours each week in 3rd Form, and that wasn't even keeping up a tight lesson-per-week schedule - she did about two lessons in three weeks. Do we need to step it up here? Or is that an unreasonable time plan?
RootAnn
:lurk5: DD#1 is doing 3rd Form now. She does at least an hour a day of work & so far, it is taking her about the same amount of time per lesson as OP. She just took the Lesson 6 quiz today. We are in our 8th week of school. DD had already done all of Lesson 1 & most of Lesson 2 before we started the school year. That means around 4 lessons in 7 1/2 weeks.
frogger
Good to hear that perhaps my son is not as off target as I was beginning to think. He barely keeps up and works on Saturdays too. I don't know how much time he spends exacatly though as he does it pretty much on his own. I would guess somewhere in the 6-8 hours range per lesson but I'm might be way off. I thought he was just struggling with his high school load and trying to do 7 credits.
