momacacia
I'm in need of a housewarming gift suggestion for a neighbor who is moving away, for their new home. Their kids are grown and only one of their children still lives at home. The wife doesn't have a lot of energy due to health issues, from what I understand, but I do think she cooks lovely meals for her family. They are Italian. ;) What would be a nice practical or beautiful, or both, gift as a going way/new home gift? Maybe something from Target or Bed Bath so it could be returned in another state, and something in the $50 and under range. TIA!
Spryte
We've just moved, and my favorite housewarming gifts that we've received are bird feeders and houses. :)
school17777
Practical would be new dishtowels. You could use those to line a bowl or basket and then add a bottle of wine or something else.
medawyn
Are you close enough to this neighbor to ask her new address? If so, I would send flowers a few days after the move or send a package of bread/muffins/cookies, either homemade or through a local service. I would hate to misplace a new gift while I was mid-move.
