shadah
I would like to switch to copywork for cursive. I love Pentime, but I think if we practice cursive for things we are doing anyway it will save time and effort. Will we miss something this way? Susie in MS
I alternate the two. I have found that when I have my dd just do copywork she starts forgetting some letters and getting a bit sloppy. But if I have her do 1 or 2 Pentime pages per week in place of copywork for that day(s), she is able to maintain her skills much better. She is now in 5th and I still do it this way. I figure by the end of this year we may go to just copywork. We'll see how things go.
Mrs. Y
The beauty of Pentime is there IS copywork right there, built into the book!
Susie in MS
Agreeing with Colleen. When I mention copy work I am referring to that from a different book where dd copies directly onto regular lined notebook paper. But there is copy work in Pentime also. shadah
I would like to use things we would copy anyway. I am looking to save time or at least to juggle less subjects. I'll try alternating. Thanks for the idea.
