Both of my son's have a razor mini ripstik.  The wheels need to be replaced and I can't seem to find the right wheels   (they need the 68mm wheels) that are cheaper than buying a whole new rip stik.  It is crazy.    I am nearly tempted to buy them both new ripstiks that have cheaper, easier to find wheels...but I don't know what the difference is between any of them.  If someone can help me I would really appreciate it.  The boys LOVE their rip stiks and ride them all of the time...they even play a form of Soccer and basketball on them.  So I need to figure this thing out.

thanks so much!!!!

I took ours to a skateboard shop at the mall They found the right sized wheels for it, but I didn't want to pay extra for them to install, because it would have cost about as much as a new ripstik.

Long story short, I should have just bought new boards. The wheels were extremely difficult to change, and I think I even had to buy a special tool... I wasn't able to do it myself, my dh was deployed so I had to ask a friend for help, which I hated to do. And he also had a hard time changing them - it wasn't just loosening a bolt and slipping in the new wheel, it was more complicated with having to pry apart the metal and forcing the old wheel out and the new wheel in, requiring strength and force and balance...

so, yes you should be able to buy the right size wheel either online or in a skateboard shop, but it may not be worth it...

We bought some replacement wheels once before from an online store (but they are no longer available and they were very expensive too)...and the boys were able to replacement by themselves with only a hex key.  So it wasn't a big deal...but finding the right sized wheels seems to be a big deal.

We don't have any sort of stores like this around so that is not an option for us either.

Our boys just said they don't like the bigger rip stiks because they are too hard to operate....so I am not sure what to do.
