madteaparty
Considering for DS next semester, if we can make the schedule work. I could do geography at home, and I've a decent book for it, but realistically it will likely fall to the side and not get done... Thank you!

homefree3
My dd (12) has the following WTMA classes: EW2, Geography, History middle ages and Study Skills Geography has challenged her scheduling skills. I really like that Geography offers 3 grading methods: 1) attendance, 2)short multiple question quizzes 3) essays. The teacher allows them to select their topic from a list. The students have a week to draft the essay. The teacher gives them "gentle" guidance. Then they have a 2nd week to polish and submit the essay for grading. The class is covering bigs topics and really expanding my daughter's mind. I vaguely remembered a small shock from the book cost. All my children are learning tons from that World Atlas. I love the required textbook!

homefree3
Quick update. According to my daughter, she does not enjoy the WTMA geography teacher's delivery of class materials. My daughter loves the WTMA history teacher's lecture. She says he is more fun. Sharing my 12 yr old's opinion.
