SKL
I'm sorry your birthday wasn't fun, Halcyon. My yesterday evening was pretty sucky too. It involved kid behavior which will need to be addressed long-term. Yuck yuck yuck. And the worst offender is about to have a birthday, so I have the unenviable challenge of mixing celebration with punishment. Also the kids are home from school today and tomorrow, and today I have a parent-teacher conference. Well anyway, here's the list. Morning exercises for me. [done] Some cleaning. [done] Some reading. [done] Kids get their own breakfast. [done] Work. [done] Kids' work. Iron on scout patches. [done. I hope they stay on this time.] Fill out school questionnaires. [done] Parent-teacher conferences. [done, thank God] Fill out kids' health forms for AHG. Kids' late lunch. [done] More work. Practice TKD form? Kids to scouts. Early birthday dinner for daughter. Kids to bed. Work. SKL
The kids are distracting me quite a bit. Since they are praying and all that, I feel bad telling them to hush up and go away ....
MomtoCandJ
Grrr I'm so mad at dd1 right now!!!!! She was told last night to put her folders in her backpack, one is a spelling folder and the other is a general folder. She didn't listen and left both at home, her picture money is in the general folder and today was picture day 😡

SKL
I lived through another parent-teacher meeting. Ugh! Why are they so stressful? I'm glad our school only does one per year.
Liz CA
Off to work, home (hopefully by 12:30 a.m. if nothing bad happens) then sleep, blessed sleep... The only thing worth mentioning is that I finally - after weeks of good intentions - cleaned up the entry to the front door which had become a haven to spiders of all sizes. ScoutTN
Thursday tackled me. Dh is not sleeping, serious insomnia issues. Coming off of two medications and has a new one whic doesn't seem to work. He is exhausted, emotional, not thinking clearly etc. He is very grouchy and can't handle doing anything at home. My mom went to the ER tonight with muscle spasms in her back. I checked in in her and took care of her house and her dog. My Dd cought the stress vibe and didn't go to sleep until 10. We have an new puppy and have had a week with no routine and little schoolwork. I am going to bed and hoping tomorrow is a better day.
