Can someone compare Earth Fare to Whole Foods?

Or Trader Joes?

My mom in an area where there are NO health food stores. I guess a TJ just opened since I have been down, but before that she had at least 1 hour drive to one. An Earth Fare is opening really close to her, 15 minute drive, but I don't know the company. Where does it fall in relation to TJ or WF?

I will likely go to ANY health food store near her, but I am just curious. 😊

We have all three in my area. I like WF best.

EF is smaller, and the one here is not kept as clean as it should be, products past sell-by dates, etc., so I don't go any more.

TJs has a limited selection--great if you want to try something new from the frozen section for dinner, not good at all if you have a list of specific ingredients you need to cook from scratch.

I LOVE Earth Fare.  I like it way better than Whole Foods.  I think the prices are better there, and if you sign up for texts and e-mails, you frequently get really good specials. Often they run a $10 off $70 coupon, too.  I've only been to one Earth Fare, and it is quite a bit smaller than Whole Foods and doesn't have as large a selection, but I've never had trouble finding what I want.  Their customer service is really good, too.

I, personally, don't feel it can be compared with a Trader Joe's -- I think they are different types of stores.  Whole Foods is a better comparison, and Earth Fare is like a smaller Whole Foods, without the attitude.

EarthFare is our area is about 1/2 to 1/3 the size of Whole Foods. It's darker and you have to wear a coat, or shop fast during the winter. I like their selections, and I think they are cheaper, but they zero customer service. It seemed to get worse when Whole Foods opened, which is crazy.

Trader Joe's is so different from the other two stores. It feels like a carnival atmosphere. I always feel like they are loud and crazy so I won't notice what I'm buying. The only thing we still buy from there is the Mac and Cheese, and an occasional stick of pretzel bread.
