We like the Lollipop Logic books from Pruffrock, and their other books for older kids. For hands on logic puzzles, Smart games makes excellent stuff. You can also check out Timberdoodle's website for more ideas. They have some great critical thinking ideas.

This thread may have some info for you.  http://forums.welltrainedmind.com/topic/562216-riddles-in-the-dark/?p=6546138

So far, I've liked the stuff (mindbenders, Dr. DooRiddles, Building Thinking Skills, crypto benders, balance benders, etc) from the critical thinking company and like TriciaT said Logic lollipop.  We also have No stress chess and Rush Hour Jr. on the nook.

Hth!

We go more the games route. Castle Logix, Kanoodle, Rush Hour Jr, Logic Links, Pathwords Jr, Mighty Mind, and Hoppers are all single-player games for my five year old. Gobblet Gobblers, Rat A Tat Cat, Qwirkle, No Stress Chess, Connect 4, and Dominoes are multi-player games that work with her.
