Day 2: My review of the 21 Day Fix: Upper Body Fix

First, some notes on the "diet" program, which I have been following since late last week. PLANNING IS KEY. I like that the food program is relatively clean. I like that it includes some grains and fruit. It is quite limited in terms of variety, but in 21 day segments, do-able. I like food plans that are real, prepared, food.

So, onto my review of the Upper Body fix. Once again, the 1 minute "on" and 20 seconds off worked for me. Even I can keep working for 1 minute! I did today's without weights or a band, but will be hitting up Academy later today. I think I can handle some light weights/resistance for some of the exercise. Autumn was encouraging without being cloying, and did a good job explaining the form. Again, I think this could easily "work" for nearly all fitness levels. What I experienced, mostly related to my accident, was extreme difficulty getting up/down from the floor, along with some vestibular disturbance that I know is related to protracted post-concussion. It was uncomfortable, but not enough to discourage or stop me.
