ELaurie
I have a friend who has MCS, environmental illness, chronic fatigue, fibromyalgia, and a circadian rhythm sleep disorder. She lives in Allen, TX, with her husband and thier 13 year old son who is a high school freshman. She is also one of the primary care providers for her mother who is has very advanced Alzheimer's / Dementia. She is seeking someone who can assist her with her many tasks and challenges. This person would need to be sensitive to her scheduling needs (able to work evenings and weekends) and her chemical sensitivities (no cologne, perfumes, etc.). She is seeking someone who can run errands, schedule appointments, make phone calls, and do some light cleaning in her home. Please PM me if interested. Thank you! Lanny
Possibly there is an office in the Collin County government, in McKinney, that can point your friend in the proper directions, so she can find 1 or 2 Caregivers and a Maid. It looks like your friend will need 2 or 3 different people, because the tasks are very different. Caring for her mother is probably the most difficult task. My guess is that a Maid will be easier for her to find and hire than the Caregiver(s). If she cannot find information in Allen or in McKinney, then she should check in Plano... Good luck to your friend and her family!
