Jackie Posted June 27, 2015 Share Posted June 27, 2015 A big, huge, rare break? I might take a long weekend on a beach or a trip to a large city. I don't think I've done that since my kid was born. A smaller break? Rearranging one area of my house to be more functional and beautiful, and going to Barnes and Noble to eat dessert, sip a coffee drink, and read something I like. snickerplum Posted June 27, 2015 Share Posted June 27, 2015 I don't know where you live, but if it were me I'd look up area bed and breakfasts. I'd take books and my tablet to read/kill time. I'd go shopping at stores I wouldn't attempt with small children and allow myself a small frivolous purchase. I'd get take out from a great restaurant and eat it in my big comfy B&B bed.
