Alana in Canada
I want to take a look at it before I decide whether to continue with R&S next year. How do I "look" at it--and then purchase it? Thanks.
RenJac1501
Usually they can send you a sample of it, you can call them and ask for a sample.
chai
You can look inside Harvey's Revised Grammar at Amazon. This is very similar to Harvey's Elementary Grammar, so you should be able to get a good feel for it. I bought my books at Amazon as well. Alana in Canada
Mom2one--who's "they?" Chai--thanks for the Amazon idea, but I've been reluctant to order materials that have to cross the border.....that's why I really want to be sure about it. I think I feel another post coming on.... Hathersage
You should be able to *look* at it Google Books. You won't be able to download it, but you should be able to see it. Of course the current publisher Mott Media might have made changes. You could contact them for a sample. http://books.google.com/books?id=hB8BAAAAYAAJ&printsec=frontcover&dq=Harvey+Grammar&as_brr=1#PPR3,M1

LizzyBee
You can download several versions of Harvey's Grammar as .pdf files at Google Books. There's even an answer key for Practical Grammar.
Alana in Canada
I hadn't known about Google books. I'll have to check that out. Thank you.
Alana in Canada
OK, Google Books has Practical Grammar by Thomas W. Harvey available for download, but not the Elementary Grammar. (Though the answer key is downloadable!) SolaMichella--which book of Harvey's did you download? And do you have a link? TIA.
