pehp
My son is a little obsessed (okay, a lot) and he desperately wants to see INSIDE the pyramids. We have done some online 'tours' (they use photographs...and you can do the 360 views, etc.). But this is not enough for my budding egyptologist, or whatever he is. ;) He wants more detail. We've checked out library books. Not enough. Is there a great documentary that might fulfill his need? He's interested in the construction and in the layout in particular of the interior of a pyramid. TIA!
Tsuga
I don't know, but as a child I loved David Macaulay's Pyramid, just for fun (even if he already knows all that, which he probably does). It's beautifully drawn. Other than that I usually like BBC documentaries but I can't recommend one in particular.
Monica_in_Switzerland
There is a documentary version of Pyramid available on youtube with a mixture of Macaulay explaining stuff and a cartoon dramatising the back story in the book. Some parts are a bit iffy in terms of young children, so I suggest previewing first.
Chelli
We're studying Egypt right now and one we've really enjoyed about the pyramids has been Engineering an Empire: Egypt.
