Excelsior! Academy
Please. I write awkwardly. It is embarrassing. How I can learn to write in an eloquent, educated way?

Critterfixer
There are quite a few resources out there. I'm looking at working my way through the CW sequence. Homer is a little below me, but Diogenes should kick my rear end! Even Beginning Poetry is going to teach me a lot. I have Warriner's Complete Grammar and Composition and I like the looks of it. I also picked up a really nice book, Roberts and Jacobs Literature, an Introduction to Reading and Writing. I got it for a buck at the library book sale! The problem is assessment. I would love to have someone go through a composition and see if I did a great job or if the whole thing smells. We really need an active Mom's writing club on here so that anyone who wanted to practice writing could have feedback on how they were doing!
