I tried various OTC lubricants, then finally chose HRT after a discussion with my gyn and looking at my family history (which made me a good candidate for it). Dry eye syndrome is another problem. I also gave up on otc eye drops and ended up getting a prescription for Restasis. Menopause dries out everything. Everything.
