cindylee
Anyone have any suggestions? I would like it to include cds etc so they can hear it spoken. Trying to go as economical as I can. I don't mind spending $100 but don't want to spend $300 taking online course. Thanks!
Momto6inIN
My son is doing Visual Link Spanish. It's a software download and includes tons of native speakers. Level I was $100. It's probably not the most rigorous one out there, but we like it a lot. And my son is learning tons. ETA: It doesn't actually include tons of native speakers. ;) It includes many many recordings of the voices of probably 2 or 3 native speakers. chiguirre
Easy Peasy All in One high school has a free class that uses GA Virtual Learnings course as a base. It has Spanish 2 and 3 too.
KarenNC
We used Harari College Worldwide for a free online course via Skype with a teacher in Barcelona for Spanish 2, so you may want to check with them. They told me Spanish was a low-demand language for them, so she had an individual tutor for 2 per week hour and a half classes. http://www.harari.edu.pl/ It was totally free---no curriculum to buy. Renaissance Mom
Galore Park's So You Really Want to Learn Spanish 1 worked well for us for Spanish 1. Dd is now in Sr. Gamache's Spanish 2. She had no trouble at all jumping in to 2, so the SYRWTL Spanish was more than adequate.
