Got a 4am phone call from my brother, luckily we were both up tending to the 2 youngest. My sil, who has been waiting for her miscarriage to pass, is hemorrhaging so we have their 3 kids and he's back at the hospital with her. Prayers would be appreciated.

So I'm sure later today will be filled with sleeping on my part and TV watching on any kids that are still here.

This sounds impossible on no sleep! And I'm feeling so sorry for myself because I got a couple hours of sleep and we have to do schooling!

:grouphug:  for all those sick, tired, and hurting!!!

A dear friend has been suffering with pain for sometime and just found out she has a blood vessel wrapped around the trigeminal nerve in her brain. Her doctor is recommending she see a neurosurgeon. Her choices may come down to pain for the rest of her life every time her heart beats or a very serious brain surgery. I'm praying she has wisdom and can find some kind of relief!

Done:

lunch and breakfast for dh

fed cats

coffee

To Do:

breakfast for the rest of us

school

take ds for a haircut

lunch

drop off/pick up dd from volunteering

dinner

School

Plan some kind of silly and inspiring chore chart that will eventually fail.  But I want to so I am.   I think it will be pretty.  And laminated.  I love laminated.  And magnetic.  :P :D

Smoothies

Balance checkbook

"Healthy" coffee - Ick.

Think about starting potty training for Cate.   Decide not to.

Weigh In - down 4lbs in two weeks.  I'm feeling pretty happy about this.

Laundry (Boys' room sheets)

Build walls tonight.  We finished the boys' room wall frames last night.  Onto a girl room tonight.  (We're finishing our basement.)

Feeling every-so-slightly better. Sinus headache is still very nasty. I still can't taste a darn thing.

Up ahead:

--drug store run for more "real" sudafed

--start crockpot for dinner (a vegetarian lasagna)

--school w dd: math, chem, history, APHG

Anything else is gravy, including house things.

Thanks for the prayers all. Sil is ok, they caught the hemorrhaging before she lost too much blood for it to become incredibly dangerous. They are home from the hospital and rating before they pick up their kids. We're just watching TV and playing quietly since everyone is tired.

Man, it took me all these hours to get ONE report halfway done so I could send a partial draft to the client.

UGH

Not sure about swim team tonight, I'm under pressure to skip it, even though it is only about 5 minutes away.

I dropped my kids off at swim and came back so I could sit here and work.

And what am I doing?  Playing around the Hive.  :P

Today my new fit-desk arrived.  I sure wish it came assembled.

And right now the UPS guy is walking up the driveway with 2 more boxes.  I hope they are for me.  :D

L.A. and math are done.  We still need to do science but I think I'll let that slide for awhile anyway since dd is in tears.  She did fine in math but she was determined to get a certain percentage (just out of reach) and her frustration was making her do worse, not better.  I finally stepped in and pulled the plug on math since she wasn't letting it go on her own.

New antibiotics are doing a number on the tummy.  Push the probiotics!  In fact, it's time for a yogurt for afternoon snack.

Funny, my ds had a haircut today, too!

I've actually had a sinus headache most of the day, so I'm staying home from church. I've got a big cleaning day tomorrow because my older sister is coming on Friday to see dd's musical.

I think I'll find something to watch on tv or Netflix.

Not going to lie here...ds has a lot of hair.  He was born with a full head of the stuff.  He is very fussy about his appearance, especially the hair.  This lady took 1:45 to cut his hair.  He had long hair going in.  He showed her the picture of what he wanted (picture Michael Fassbender) , and she started snipping away.  He looks great, but really?  She shampooed him twice.     Good gravy!
