texasmama
Not together. :) I have a huge purples cabbage and kind of want a salad-y type thing. Any favorite recipes? Also, my dad gave me some peaches he had sliced and frozen. They are really juicy when defrosted, and I have about four cups. I'm not sure what to do with them. My family will not eat peach cobbler or pie. (I know!!!) I don't really want peach muffins, but I suppose I could do that in a pinch. I need fresh ideas. texasmama
That might go over here, particularly with little dd.
MiMi 4under3
Why not together? I make cabbage with blueberries, kale, and some other stuff as a salad. The dressing is a mixture of balsamic vinegar and maple syrup. Well, now that I've written it, it sounds weird, but it's delicious!

Well, I'm into weird combos, and I will eat salad with fruit in it, as will little dd, but these peaches are not fresh. They are frozen and when thawed, they are all goopy. It doesn't sound like good salad fare. ETA: Your salad does not sound bad - I would absolutely eat it!

ikslo
Red cabbage in my house = science experiment now. I don't think I can ever eat one again. LOL Peaches go on ice cream or in PIE.
