And Lynn's Birthday?

Birthday Plan Booyah!

This is the thread that never ends,

It just goes on and on my friends.

People started posting not knowing what it was,

And they will keep on posting here forever just because...

This is the thread that never ends

You'd best come join it with your friends

'Cuz it will replace Facebook as the latest web-based craze

And everyone will post here instead for the rest of their days

This is the thread that's always there

They'll cheer you up so don't despair

The group is growing well as more people start checking in

And we'll keep sucking them in because our cheer is addictive

This is the thread that never ends

It's better than a Mercedes Benz

It helps with coffee withdrawal and other troubles, too

Eighteen hundred pages of friends all cheering for you

This thread keeps going on and on

with record-setting length and fun

It started forty-eight months ago from curiosity

and all the fun and frolic has shown this is the place to be

This is the thread that never ends...

And the place where one finds special friends,

the kind that have hearts that are strong and true

Yes, ITT ladies, I am talking to you!

This is the thread that never ends

Yeah, it's superior to other trends

Friends start out scratching their head in confusion, perhaps

But then the laughter strikes and they gratefully tip their caps.

This is the thread that never ends

I had no idea when I entered in

That what seems a little nuts might actually save me

From going insane on days that are crazy 🤗

This is the thread that never ends....

Good Morning! 😉 (Technically, it's Monday morning here).

I had a really, really nice day, but it was so busy!

Church and church activities basically nonstop from early this morning until just a little while ago.  Dh and the kids were finished by dinner, but I went to an extra activity and it lasted a long, long time.  But, it was really good -- spending time with people I love who love me in return.  I am blessed. :)

Good Morning!

Happy Monday!

I am not adjusting well to the time change.  I went to bed at a normalish time and when dh's alarm clock went off this morning, I was still awake.  I did get to sleep for about two hours.  Looking forward to naptime.

Pi day- cherry tart experimental pie using Pillsbury crescent roll dough as the crust.

ITT birthday- Whatever I come up with on the day.

We don’t celebrate St. Patrick’s Day.

I’m watching a friend’s kids while she’s at the baby doctor. She has about 3 weeks until her due date. Then school with various children and laundry are on my slate.

Good Morning!

Happy Tuesday!

And Pi Day!

Last night I told the girls they could have doughnuts for breakfast today if they told me *why* I was letting them have doughnuts for breakfast.  It took them a while, but they got there.

Pizza for lunch, probably quiche for dinner, and apple pie for bedtime snack.

Good morning!

Happy Pi(e) Day!

I left at dawn to bring the van to the shop.  Hopefully they will call soon to let me know what's wrong with it.  In the mean time we had an egg pie with tater tot crust that turned out much better than expected and I need to drive dd20 to college classes in a half hour.

Coffee!

An Ode to Pie
by KrissiK

Pie.

I love pie.

Cream pie.

Fruit Pie.

Pumpkin pie with real whipped cream.

Boysenberry pie, fresh from the oven with a side of high quality vanilla icecream, right there on the plate, melting just a little so the melted icecream mixes with the berry juices.

Pie.

Donuts are not pie. Just sayin’.

Nope, but they're round.  And I wanted to get rid of them. :)

FTR, I don't consider pizza to be pie either.  And quiche is iffy, depending on whether it has a crust or not.

I made a phone call and an appointment.  Svengo.  Probably should eat some pie to help recover.

-----------

(For Paradox)

No pie - I was tired
Cherry, apple, either one
Worth a good poem

We have a decent collection of ITT Pie Poetry, though not as much as for Insomnia or Coffee.

I would take the rest of the day off, too. Just as a precautionary measure.

The rhubarb-berry pie is done and the taco pie is in the slow cooker (this is actually more like a taco lasagna but it's round so we will call it a pie ala Junie's Criteria) and the van was finished and Ds18 and I went to go pick it up.  Almost $600 for $45 in parts and a couple hours of work.  Svengo.  I'm still trying to convince my kids that auto mechanics is the way to go.

Marie Callandar’s Lemon Meringue pie for dessert tonight. DD decided to try to make cinnamon rolls again instead of experimenting with crescent dough pie shell.

Homemade Mac n Cheese w/beef n mushrooms on the side is for the main meal.

I have no pie poetry.

Donuts can be pie when served arranged in a round formation. So says the Green Bean Paradox.

I went to IKEA and bought Little Man a new twin bed. He and his little friend kept using his other hi/low bed as a jungle gym! I donated it to our refugee helping charity to use as a bunk bed.

It is actually breathable outside so DH just took LM and DD to the neighborhood park while her dough rises. The boys are gaming upstairs. I’m vegging in my room.

I really love my house. It is such a blessing to have it.

I want a weed whacker edger tool. They are so fun to use. I’m weird.

Adding: I need a stand mixer that DD can’t burn out like she is my KitchenAid hand mixer. KitchenAid still the go to?
