Susan in TN 70,715
Good morning! It's The Queen's favorite day! Dd14 said she caught a snowflake on her tongue and dd11 got one in her eye. 😁 I have yet to see a snowflake, but maybe they will make another appearance later today. Dd14 still does not have a winter coat. My least favorite aunt has made an appearance this morning, which explains my emotional angst and anxiety of the past couple days. Hopefully things will settle down soon. Have to leave in 20 minutes for dd14's orthodontist appointment. She is hoping they give the OK to get her braces off. I'm in the middle of folding laundry, but the rest will have to wait until later. Coffee!

Junie 49,685
Good Morning! Happy Monday! I've been up for awhile, but things kept keeping me from my computer. Dd10 just finished school. Dd12 hasn't started yet. (She has another case of the I don't wannas.) Dd14 and dd16 are working on their own. I'm working on my to-do list for this week and my goals for 2021 list. I need to find my 2020 goal list and see how much of a disaster 2020 has been. 1

We'll go back later this week to get a retainer. Laundry is nearly finished, but I can't fit any more socks in dh's sock drawer. I may have to quietly disappear some of them. Not sure what else I should tackle today. Dog towels or pile of old clothes. Christmas gift craft or Advent calendar craft. I made a phone call. 🏆 It is snowing. ❄️ Yay! It's a Morning Update Booyah! Jean in Newcastle 174,718
There is a steady leak under the kitchen sink (where we are remodeling). I have wedged a dog bowl under there and need to remember to empty the bowl every hour or so. Dh knows about it but he has his pesky day job to attend to and I'm not qualified for higher plumbing duties other than bowl wedging and emptying. 1

My poor kitteh Lupin has something going on with his tummy: he throws up everything. He's been to the vet twice, they've done x-rays which are all normal, I've tried every kind of kibble as well as single-ingredient canned food (lamb, which he threw up while he was eating). He's been eating prescription kibble for a couple of months; at first he was fine, but then he started throwing up that stuff daily. So my cousin recommended an elevated, tilted food bowl, which she said worked wonders for her pukey cat. I bought one. So far the only improvement is that he's throwing up liquid instead of undigested food. o_0

I do the elevated tilted bowl plus mix pumpkin in with the canned "hairball control" food in the a.m. and Fortiflora kitty probiotics mixed in with the rest of the canned hairball control food in the the evening.

Wheres Toto 19,529
I haven't really started Christmas shopping yet. I know what I"m getting for the most part, I just have to do it. We don't really have much to buy though. All the grandparents are getting picture calendars. Oldest dd is getting a lock box for her important papers, my mom also has a birthday so I think we're getting her wireless headphones. Youngest dd is also getting wireless headphones. Ds is getting an ipod. I got nothing for dh but we tend to buy house stuff and wrap it for each other. I'll run into Walmart early one morning before it gets crowded for little stocking stuffer stuff.
Wheres Toto 19,529
Okay, this thread prompted a conversation with dh and I just ordered ds's ipod. I'm being lazy this morning. I don't have class until 11:30 but it's one of my long days that go until 2:30pm, didn't meet with dd since she asked to meet tomorrow, so I'm taking it slow and easy this morning. My joints have been achy for the past week or so and I haven't been sleeping well. Pretty sure it's due to all the sugary food I've been eating. Baked goods in particular seem to cause achy joints. But stuff like Nips candy don't. It's so weird. 1
