Which dress for DH's retirement ceremony? Or neither? Are both too young? Don't go stealing them out from under me before I make a decision...Dress 1 seems more springy and light and I don't have any other white dressy outfits. Dress 2 seems like a more forgiving cut if the fit is off, but I have a lot of navy. I have another dress in this brand/size that fits so I think they'll be ok but it's hard to know for sure.

Both are classy and not too young.  I like both of them.

It's snowing here. ??

i let the girls do half a math lesson today since I knew jumping back in after a break would be less than fun. It might be a new Monday trend. Actually, a friend has her dd do half a math lesson everyday, but they school during the summer, which I don't think we're capable of.

I can't be trusted to consult on dresses. I was the happiest person in the world when I finally got rid of the last dress and last skirt in my closet.

I still have some skirts, including a gray wool skirt that I can wear if I lose 15 lbs.  Maybe can be my goal for next winter.

I like both dresses. I think the white one would be a lovely contrast to dh's uniform if you can keep all white dresses clean.  I always too clumsy to wear all white.

You all are no help on the dress. I like them both too (darkish hair, pale skin, light eyes). There's probably a reason I don't have much white but I can almost always get a stain out of white without ruining an item, but colors can't hold up to bleach and sun.

They have free returns but only give store credit. Maybe I'll get both and return one.

The first one!  I don’t like the second one at all.

I'm just jealous because you can actually wear something like that! I would look like I was wearing an actual tire around my hips. I like the cut of the white one.

I am on Day 36. I have not yet reached my step goal, but I'm only 300 away. I'll get there.

I hurt my back moving the swingset yesterday. This resulted in a very Monday Monday.

I randomly decided to dye my hair red last night. When the boys saw it this morning, they were convinced I had "gone kaioken." It's a Dragonball thing.

Yay for meeting step goal

Boo for hurting your back.

Yay for dyeing hair (almost spelled it wrong, but then I remembered, no dying allowed).

I don't know what Dragonball is, but I'm sure they meant to compliment you.  right?

Puppy Monkey Mountain Goat can now leap up on dd's bed.  Dd's bed is about desk high (with a big "cave" underneath for Libby).  Since she was all wet from the rain today that was a surprising way to wake up for dd!  And no, I did not put puppy up to it.

It's a Puppy Monkey Mountain Goat Booyah!

Down, Swamp Thing!  Down!

Soggy Booya(h)!

They both look pretty nice!  How are returns if the dress doesn't fit as well as you hope?  And how tight is time to get a dress?  If time isn't tight and returns are easy and quick I'd go for the white, since you don't have other white ones.  If you like the navy better, though, go for the navy even if you have other navy dresses.

Careful with how many tic-tacs you eat in a sitting.

My relatives in Virginia had a tornado last night.  Everyone is well, but lots of clean up, rebuilding, and power restoring to do.

Lots of hugs to them!  I'm glad they are safe, and sorry for the aftermath.

Yikes!  Glad everyone is OK and sorry about the mess.  That's miserable.
