AimeeM
I've looked but can't find a Foerster's Algebra 2 book. Is there one? I've seen many positive reviews for his Algebra program, but are the subsequent books (Algebra 2, if there is one, and Geometry) just as solid? Penguin
Foerster does not have a geometry. There is an Algebra 2/Trig book. We are still in Algebra 1, so I can't review it for you. I think there is also a Foerster's PreCalc text. I think that people sometimes skip the Trig portion of the Algebra 2 text, and pick up the Trig in the PreCalc book. AimeeM
Ah. That explains the lack of "finding" on my part, lol. Thanks!
EKS
We used the Algebra II book with the Math Without Borders videos. It was a very solid course. We ended up switching to Lial because there was a disconnect between the instruction in the book and the understanding required to do the problem sets. This could have been because I was not able to help my son when he was stuck because he was doing it independently. When we moved to Lial, I did the teaching.
