Mama Geek
Dh is sick and so decided to brush up on calculus. He likes to solve problems sometimes just to keep fresh. My 4 1/2 year old is sitting in his lap and they are watching a calculus lesson on how to derive the volume of a sphere. She has been sitting there for probably 20 minutes now. I am sure it is a lll over her head, but she is paying attention.
idnib
So cute! I've been sitting here calculating the volume of all the bleeping boxes I still need to pack before we move Friday. Does that count?
Mama Geek
After they finished we had a short lesson on areas, volumes, and surface areas. Calculating volumes of boxes counts.
Tiberia
We cleaned the house, had a countdown to the epic pi moment, and went to get Italian sodas. Later this afternoon, I'm going to hole-punch some geometry handouts (I'm greatly looking forward to this!). Later today I'll make the pi celebration dinner. Count me in!
Cinder
I went to Publix to buy Key Lime Pie  and am currently contemplating casting on Geek Socks just because I like the name. :D
milovany
I keep seeing this as "Greeks" -- what do Greeks do on Saturday morning? (Make khoularakia? Take their children to Greek School? Go to a Day of the Dead liturgy?). Geeks, geeks, geeks. I'll try to see geeks from now on.
Tsuga
I have a linear algebra book and word of the day app for this. :grouphug: Geek therapy.
Pegs
I'm geeking it up on a Sunday afternoon, over here. :) Flitting between the forums and a practice quiz for my logic course, while I wait for my little brother to come over for his maths lesson. DS is pacing across the living room in costume, reciting poetry.
