displace
I previously thought MBTP was a "whole" curriculum and likely not appropriate in a 2e situation. I'm looking to do more unit studies or even teacher-directed PBL in lit/science/history/ss/other subjects. I saw MBTP associated with a unit study or PBL question and it started me thinking what the curriculum really is. Can someone explain? And does it change for different years/ages? Also, as DS is so asynchronous I would just go with older curriculum for the challenge but read and scribe for him. Would that work?
Syllieann
Starting at the 7-9 level you can get the various subjects separately, so it is probably more appropriate for 2e at the older ages. The reading level looks to be about 1-2 years ahead across the board. There are a few posts on the mbtp forum about using it with a dyslexic. We are going to do the la next year. They run an annual sale at the end of March.
