Coco_Clark
https://www.circeinstitute.org/seattle I always said if Andrew Kern came within driving distance to me, I'd go. Now I'm trying to convince myself that I really can. Spend 150$ (not to mention 2 days!) on myself?!?
WTMCassandra
I'm seriously thinking about it.
Angelaburke1000
Since I live less than 30 min. away.... Feels like an easy yes! The only hitch is that I'd just booked a trip with friends for the last weekend in May. So it feels like I've used up my extra time/money for a while. Maybe I can justify one as "mother culture" and the other as "teacher training." ;)
Collins4
I think I am going! I really love Sarah Mackenzie and Andrew Kern. Its a lot of $$ but I think the inspiration that I wil get from it will be worth it!
Mystie
I would totally be there, but we've already paid a deposit on a vacation rental on the Oregon Coast for that week.
Chelli
I got to hear and meet Andrew Kern, Sarah Mackenzie, and Christopher Perrin this past week at the GHC conference in Fort Worth. It was worth every penny. Andrew Kern's lecture on literature had me jotting down changes I want to make in our homeschool even now. Martin Cothren gave an amazing talk about what a liberal arts/classical education is that also had me writing fast and furious thinking about how I wanted a liberal arts education to impact our school. The best part though were the classical homeschool panels where the audience asked questions and Kern, Perrin, Pudewa, Cothren, and Reynolds answered them. Pure gold. TheAutumnOak
You guys are killing me...I live on the east coast and can't go that far... Guest
I don't know what the conference will be like--but it is taking place at my son's formal school AND Andrew Kern lit my homeschool fire at a conference 8 years ago. I'm done homeschooling. But I might go anyway because it will be a conference full of truth and beauty. That is enough.
