Farrar
I don't use search often, but I went to look for a thread by using the search in the corner on the subforum I wanted and it just comes up page not found.
alisoncooks
I'm having issues with the advanced search function, too. For example, if I search "reading" in titles, I'm getting a small number of results...none of which have "reading" in the title...?
Pink Elephant
My guess is, the search function has been pruned-back to prevent old topics from being resurrected.
gingersmom
My guess is, the search function has been pruned-back to prevent old topics from being resurrected. You would know all about that!
EmilyK
I'm not getting recent posts when I try to do a search.
Haiku
I'm not getting any results when I search for anything.
Black-eyed Suzan
When I search, I get a page saying, "The page you are looking for cannot be found." It also has a list of Site Results from welltrainedmind.com (not the forum).
Laura Corin
Even when search seems to be working, it's not finding the key words. For example, if I search on ANZAC (I know that there have been mentions of ANZAC biscuits) it says that there were no results - I have tried upper and lower case, with the same result. L Yep, that's the problem I'm having. I searched "reading" in titles and got 7 results...none had "reading" in the title. At all. :p I'm having to come in the back door (Google search) to find threads.

alisoncooks
I don't know the official way, though I know people have shared it here many times! A quick web search turned up this, which looks familiar: **Precede your query with site: if you know you want your answer from within a specific site or type of site (.org, .edu). For example: site:edu or site:nytimes.com.** I had success searching "reading" like this: reading site:forums.welltrainedmind.com
Haiku
It's returning a few things, but not a full list. And even when I search for a word I used today in posts, nothing is coming up.
Sk8ermaiden
I typically check forums by clicking "View new content" and I am still turning up nothing at all.
Laura Corin
Searching for 'biscuit' comes up with just one result and 'biscuits' with none. I know that there are threads out there with that content.
Angie in VA
site:forums.welltrainedmind.com: ANZAC TYVM! I was searching w/ welltrainedmind, but was only getting one hit here. Odd. This helps a lot.
