Erin
I'm subbing today in American History and Government classes and had a student come in first thing this morning. He told me I just had to show this video to my classes today and he was right. I ran it a total of 6 times to kids between the ages of 13 and 18. Not a one of them can really remember 9/11/01 and yet every last one was silenced. The conversations afterward were excellent.
Catherine
Wow-amazing. On the 10th anniversary, I played our homemade videos of news footage from that day for my kids, who were 10 and 14 at the time. Then we read aloud parts of the 9\11 report, the graphic novel. The beginning lays out nicely, in great detail, the background leading up the the attacks and the actual timeline of the attacks on that day. Neither of them has a clear memory of it. They were absolutely riveted by the news footage. But this composite video captures the most dramatic moments and I'd like them to see it. Chelli
It's not any easier to watch now, then it was when it happened. I still get a sick feeling all over and nauseated. Prayers for those families who lost friends and relatives that day.
